to the ABIA Best Practice Panel

Ellen Myers has been elected to the ABIA Best Practices Panel
and serve a 3 year term.
The panel is a combination of
members and industry firms. The advisors are elected by their
peers and all offer diverse expertise to the panel. “XyberNET
has been actively involved as a member and sponsor of the ABIA
for years. We are proud to also be involved with their Best
Practices Panel. We also plan to exhibit in their next annual
conference coming this fall,” states Ellen Myers.
The
American Bankers Insurance Association (ABIA) is the insurance
affiliate of the American Bankers Association (ABA). The ABIA's
mission is to develop policy and provide advocacy for banks in
insurance and to support bank insurance operations through
research, education, compliance-assistance and peer group
networking opportunities.
Members of the ABIA include banking institutions of all asset
sizes, insurance companies, service providers, consultants,
mortgage companies, credit card companies and associations. The
membership makeup is approximately 55% banking institutions and
45% all other providers.
The 2009 ABIA Annual Conference,
"Uncharted Territory: Making the Most of Bank-Insurance to Meet
Today's Challenges," will be held this year at the splendid JW
Marriott Hotel in Washington, DC October 4-6, 2009. Considered
the preeminent meeting for the bank-insurance industry, this
annual event draws senior agency managers, bank-insurance
program executives and service providers from banks and
insurance companies of all asset sizes.
