XyberNET Launches
XYSTOR Backup
and Data Recovery Services

launching three levels of
data backup and recovery services to its valued customers.
The new service
will be called XySTOR. XyberNET plans to market three
different versions of the data backup services.
Customers have different requirements and different budgets. It is important we realize
this fact and are flexible enough to offer solutions in three
different levels, states James Kernan VP of Business Development
for XyberNET. The three different XYSTOR levels of service
range in RPO, recovery point objectives, and RTO, recovery time
objectives.
Level 1) XYSTOR – SG:
Storage Guardian offsite data backup services - This option is the
simplest option for our small business customers looking to
securely store and archive data files over the internet. This is
a complete, secure, on-line data management service for
enterprise-wide LANs, including automated backup, fault-tolerant
off-site storage, and fast data recovery.
Level 2) XYSTOR – BDR:
Backup Disaster Recovery appliance - This
reasonably priced, all-encompassing solution provides Small to
Medium size businesses with near real-time backups that also
includes seamless off-site data storage along with multi-year
archiving and fast server virtualization capabilities. There are
advanced restoration options like file and folder level
restorations, with Microsoft Exchange message and mailbox
recovery, and bare metal restorations to dissimilar hardware.
Within minutes the unique BDR device can also be configured to
function as a virtual server if needed. This solution replaces
management intensive, error-prone tape backups while providing
much more.
Level 3) XYSTOR – AS2D:
Advance Secure to Disk Recovery services - This Medium to Enterprise
business solution offers easy, secure, and affordable methods to
backup production data both locally and off-site. The service consists of SunGard-provided
hardware and software components deployed at both the customer’s
premises and at secure and hardened SunGard facilities that act
as the “vault” for you backed up data.
